Did Omaha kill College Baseballs quickly growing momentum?

I was just thinking back on the regionals and super regionals and how every single game was broadcast. You had great games on left and right and you couldn't watch them fast enough. Specifically our game with OU and many of UNCs games. Shoot outs and drama down to the last inning were everywhere.
But now that were in Omaha, it seems like all of that awesome momentum has all but disappeared. Uneventful, drawn out, low scoring games really killed my interest in continuing to watch. I doubt any real change will happen and some things have already even been discussed on here, but it just like a shame that all of that momentum seemed to all but disappear.
What do you think?

No.
The ball will be livelier next year and the TDA fences will be moved in. ESPN will continue to put money into it because they have more platforms and Bases Loaded was a rousing success.
College Baseball is heading in the right direction.

To me it seems like a big overrated pitcher circle jerk with the announcers
They can hang one and get an out at the warning track

Like Football they say that Defense wins games but Offense sells the Tickets!! People want to see action and not be bored to death!!

It definitely didn't help.
I hate that a 3 run lead in the fifth is pretty much ballgame at TDA

Bring back the old bats! The composite Stealths were badass.

TD Ameritrade park architect needs his arse kicked. It's obvious he didn't do a sight analysis. The park needs to be turned 180 degrees.

It is like watching baseball in 1908 at the polo grounds minus the spit ball

The ironic thing is the NCAA will "level the playing field" by changing the ball so the small ball teams won't dominate the CWS the way LSU did in the 1990s with gorilla ball.

As a huge college baseball fan who watches most if not all of the games in Omaha every year, I found myself struggling to stay interested. They took away the game changing/game winning homerun threat, and with that took away to excitement. It looked like pitchers throwing bullpens every game, and the huge increase in bunting was just aweful to watch. If nothing is changed, I probably won't tune in as much, unless LSU is playing.

No one caught the irony in this statement?
You are criticizing 3-1 and 5-0 games, but are praising a 2-0 game?

It doesn't get any better than the 2-0 game that Friday night. Great pitching and defense. The Box was packed and rocking.
Funny how it's not so great when you lose 2-1.

Hopefully the changes will come and then you can *asterick that CWS trophy UCLA. What a fn joke of a CWS that was!

It sure as hell didn't help.

No apparently LSU needs to learn to get legally hit while standing outside the batters box, then bunt and then get a ground single and do that over and over and over again until you have a 5 run lead.

Pretty much nobody outside Baton Rouge really cares about college baseball. It had no momentum so Omaha didn't kill anything.

No body cares about college baseball outside a dozen schools. ESPN shows (PTI, Around the Horn, etc.) don't even cover it in the 10 second segments.
