Paraphrasing, he tweeted, "For the fans who want to hit on us, that's fine. But if you're off the bandwagon, please stay off."

Good for you, Nate!

We will see who jumped off the bandwagon by the responses in this thread.

Some of the fans around here need a serious reality check and need to learn how to deal with their emotions.

You can be disappointed without getting all pissed off at a bunch of 20 year olds and throwing in the towel already.

players calling out fans on twitter is always a good idea and a great way to rally the team.

I'm glad they are focused on Omaha.

Not jumping off the bandwagon here, but if you cannot see that coming back from the loser's bracket is incredibly tough, then you are a fool. You can still support the Tigers while keeping in touch with reality.

I always remind myself that as much as I hate losing, the guys out there playing hate losing a million times more. Even if we lose tomorrow I am so very happy with the effort given by this team throughout the year and am proud of their accomplishments.

Pitching and Defense are going to win the championship this year. LSU has both and has all season, but only one showed up last night. Hopefully they can correct that on Tuesday.

ETA: As much as I hate it a little more small ball wouldn't hurt either.

Well at least Nate doesnt have to get all big eyed at high Fastballs out of the zone.

I dont see anything wrong with questioning the calls or lack of a coach telling their players to lay off those pitches. Has the fans really been that hard on the players though?

Like I said last night:

I don't care if we witnessed one of the biggest choke jobs in LSU Baseball history...

I still love LSU and am proud of the team.

Do I think this team can get to the championship series? Probably not.

Am I proud of this team and proud to be a Tiger Fan? Always.

Ok Nate. I'm on !

It just seems pitchers are working our boys and
we are letting them. It looks like a "small ball" park
So lets not do the opposing pitcher any favors. Work
his arse boys!

It's a tough loss but they are still our team. It is not over. One game at a time! Geaux Tigers.

I thought it was a great game of baseball. UCLA did a great job of pitching to us and using the ballpark against us.
