Why do they have pictures of Houston Dynamo and Real Madrid?

According to this wiki article the Souther Premier league which it was a member of folded in 2011.

Some sort of amateur team where players range in age from 18 to 55.

it'd be great if they could tear down and rebuild Tad Gormley for MLS... you could still have high school football there.

great idea!

from wiki:

The stadium is set to host an international friendly match between Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire S.C. and Honduran side Real C.D. España on February 4, 2012.[1]

how did that go?

Not sure about that one specifically, but someone brings a Honduran side up to New Orleans every so often. Saw the Burn play CD Olimpia when I was much younger, and I remember there being a significant crowd at Tulane's old soccer field (not 100% sure on the venue). They have had 2500 show up to watch Montagua and Club America in the middle of a fricking tropical storm.

There are so many Hondurans in the New Orleans area that when someone of Honduran descent tells me that they are going to visit family, I'm not sure if they are going to Hammond, Kennabrah, or Honduras.

Tear down some of those old empty buildings on Tchoup and build a stadium along side the river..

That way I could walk there..
