Well if that is the truth, than there is no excuse that shouldn't happen in our stadiums. People need to act right. My son's travel baseball coach was at the series his nephew plays 2nd base for OU he hasn't said anything about it and he definitely would have, hopefully it is just an isolated situation and wasn't the norm. The OU fans have gone through enough already this year, they don't need that BS from us.

I was at the NC game when we beat OU and if you asked any fan their they said even though they lost they had a great experience and the LSU fans were the most hospitable and nicest group.

There was no food thrown down on Oklahoma fans. It's flat out ridiculous for anyone to insinuate that there was.

When you peruse the Alex Box menu, what looks to be the best food for throwing? Based on factors like value, weight, aerodynamic properties?

This food fight sounds as realistic as the comments bout NOPD cops demanding $800 in cash & tickets from their fans in the Quarter that yr.I don't have much faith in the NOPD but I seriously doubt this happened. And there were more St.Troopers there brought in for extra crowd control than NOPD cops.

Someone asked a great question earlier I would like to see more comment on:

I answered Texas: one of the starting pitcher's mom's from that series bitched and bitched about LSU fans

UC Irvine fans, but they brought it on themselves

According to an OU fan that I was talking to before the game Saturday, the only problem people in the OU section had with fans was other OU fans. An OK person who happens to go to LSU was sitting with other OK people who were dressed in OU colors. Other OU fans threw peanuts at her because she was in the OU section. I explained to the fan I was talking to (an uncle of a player) that every school has some bad fans that ruin reps for other fans. We gave props to good plans and wished the team well next year.

Her boyfriend is on the OU baseball team, so she makes it out to be a big deal and does the half LSU/OU gear bs....if she sat in their section. It might have been someone else, but I doubt it

And I remember my friends and I met that woman before the game and all she talked about was how great our fans were. Texas loses the game, then the series and the woman COMPLETELY changes her tune. After being around UT fans then and OU fans this weekend I can see how they hate one another, I dont like either of them.

where was the food raining "down" from?

We were drunk in a suite and threw a few peanuts in the air after Jacoby's homerun but there were LSU fans below us.

I love how everyone in okie thinks the rain delay was LSU's call and somehow LSU made the weather go around BR.

You'd think Oklahomans, in particular, would be sensitive to the need for caution in the face of severe weather predictions.

the ou fans sat in sec 216 - which is where i normally sit. most of the area cannot be reached by suite fans & suite occupantes - are not the kind of people that do sure things!
i talked to three couples before the second game & they had no complaints
ou had about 600 fans @ the game - that is how many tickets they get.
the only other people that complain about our fans are the tulame people

After comments by other coaches, USA Today's article on LSU fans/ traditon, comments by Louisville's coaches, comments by OU's coach and comments by many (most?) OU fans themselves, these complaints ultimately reflect most poorly on the Sooner fans who are now calliong in to the radio station.
I think the technical term is "poor losers".
They had a good team, though.

I remember that.

Didn't she write something about it for a newspaper?

Cole St. Clair's dad made an awesome post on TD after Blake Dean walked off his son's arse in the CWS in 08.go

My bad guys. I can explain. I got one of those overpriced chicken tender baskets that Gray set the price on. He obviously cooked it too because it was raw in the middle. Then he didn't refill the condiments. So when I bit into the chicken I noticed it was raw so I immediately tossed it at some OU fans. I tried my Mr. Pibb I got with it and it was flat so I tossed it out too.
