I caught a couple flatheads on some yoyos at lake St. John last weekend.

Mostly channel cats though.

-CHSBears-

High tide is at 10:00 am Saturday morning. Are you fishing the ocean side of Elmers while it's rising before 10:00 and switching to the bay side after it starts to fall after 10:00?

jimbeam is correct.

Fishing falling tide this afternoon until whenever. Most likely cuts & canals off of thunder bayou.

Saturday a.m., on the beach, Elmer's unless it is just too crowded. G.I. Speckled Trout Rodeo is out of Bridgeside this weekend, could be like grand central station.

Caught a limit of trout in Lake Borgne this morning. They still hit plastics (lemon head matrix shad), but I think live shrimp will be required soon.
