I got destroyed for posing this questions way back. It really is an odd thing IMO. I feel like only children who actually have reason to look up to athletes should wear them, but the grown men wearing jerseys is just silly.

I own a few. But they stay in the closet except on gamedays. I don't wear them any other time.
With the exception of the US Soccer ones. Those are pretty much like T Shirts I guess.

I think it's a requirement you have to wear a jersey to get into some NFL stadiums. Colts fans seem to be the worst.

Adults don't wear jerseys IMO.

I will wear jerseys to games. (Sorry about your poorness)

I think people that wear them out just randomly on a trip to the mall are pretty lame though.

Yeah I was talking about the players instead of the fans.

Yes as poor people have the hundreds of dollars to drop on authentic jerseys.

(Assuming we were talking about authentic jersey and not the Korea special)

i'm sorry the real world isn't as frat as you'd like...

if i go out and hoop, i might sport my chris paul 3... i used to wear it to games over a yellow polo. i wear my saints brees 9 and voodoo curran 34 jerseys to their games, and likewise my team USA donovan 10 and Wolverhampton ebanks-blake jerseys if i ever go to one of theirs

(for Hornets games I just wear regular clothes since there really isn't anyone "buy-a-jersey" worthy on the team right now . for chalmette games i wear a dri-fit coaches' shirt and for LSU games i wear a purple polo)

I feel like I look like a thug in basketball jerseys.

Got a Peyton Jersey, and the wife is a Ravens fan, and I can tolerate them so we have Rice jerseys for both of us.

Have my STL Bradford Jersey as well

Blues Oshie Jersey

I am old, but have multiple Caps jerseys that I wear to games.

I can only think of maybe one game in the past 5 seasons where I did not wear a Caps jersey to the game...

As for other sporting events, do not wear jerseys, but if that is how you support your team, go for it...

I honestly don't care what you wear and really don't care what you think of what I wear. I'll wear a jersey on game day, especially my Dale Hunter #32. I'm not so insecure as to give two moments thought to what you think of my wardrobe choices.

This.

I also didn't realize it was time for this thread to appear again. Seems like it's created every month. Although it's usually on the OT where if you don't wear a polo and khakis to a sporting event, you're not a real fan. Or some shite like that.

And let's say you are a handsome sob. I thank you for thinning the competition at the bar after a sporting event. If you are old and or fat then my point is moot. Carry on

P.S if anyone claims to have been laid wearing a jersey they are lying, or she was a stripper, or ranked a 0-3. A 4 is pushing it, even they draw the line somewhere.

in other parts of the country everyone has them on at a bar or the game. Maybe you need to get out of the south more often.
