Some aged strips cooked on the Primo topped with an Argentine style chimichurri. Paired with fresh sweet corn and a spring mix salad.

Portabella mushroom and Beyond Meat sautéed in coconut oil and liquid aminos with an avocado. Baby artichokes with olive oil, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.

I like it. It can be eaten straight from package or cooked into recipes. Texture is similar and you can marinate/season it how you would chicken. Some may not even notice the difference if you didn't tell them. Best fake meat I've had yet.

Damn, good looking food up in here. We just wrecked our Teeball opponent. Gonna watch the Tigers and grill some dogs. Beer, wine and milks respectively.

If I may be so bold. For the record, here´s a little help in the Spanish language department.

Puerco is an insult, like pig. Cerdo is like pork. Actually, in the insult department, both are interchangeable. In the food department, only cerdo is acceptable.

Anyway, tuna steaks on the grill, avocado and onion salad, copious amounts of some random rosé from Rhone, which is actually palatable.

Enjoy your glorious Thursday evening, all.

I'd of traded the steaks for the cracklins, no question!
