Best away game trip I ever took.

Went and saw DMB at the Gorge in Friday night, game Saturday, toured around Sunday.

ETA: rode the fricking duck tour baby!

The Gorge is pretty awesome. I would love to go see a show there.

I wasn't there, but I remember Musberger reporting that LSU fans took over downtown Seattle.

I went to that game and it was a freaking blast. We took over that whole city. You could not walk anywhere without seeing a group of LSU fans. We must have had 12k plus fans. Hands down best road trip for a LSU game ever. In fact i'm wearing my Seattle Alumni Chapter T Shirt I bought up there as we speak. We took the boat cruise to the game and I kid you not it was all Tiger Fans but an older UW couple. Only thing that sucked was our seats where at the upper reaches of that upper deck in the farthest corner away from the band. We where in among other LSU fans but you could not hear the band. Only qualm about the trip, that and on the way missed my connection in San Fransisco to Seattle because my flight from Houston was delayed.

I was in Skagway, AK at the time and a cruise ship pulled into port with 500 plus LSU fans the week before the trip. They took over that ship.

Your friend is wrong. There were nearly THAT many at the warehouse party the night before the game. Estimates range between 15K and 18K at the game.

You should have seen Pike's Place Market that Saturday morning. It might as well have been Nicholson Dr before a home game. All the vendors were saying that they've never seen anything like that from a visiting fanbase.

It was one of my favorite trips ever. Got there early, did all of the touristy things, fine dined, went to the wine country, rode the ducks... awesome trip.

And the plane ride up was great too... at least half were LSU fans and a Geaux Tigers was started by the flight attendant when we landed.

Deville wrote an article after the game that said it was the most LSU fans he'd ever seen travel to a game.

I live here in Seattle and we had a great time partying with BR Tiger fans and tailgating before the game. A ton of fans were here. Wished we'd had a couple of young LSU studs with us during the game to defend against the asshat UW kids standing on their seat backs blocking us from seeing the game! We were able to move at least and get a good view. They didn't like my LSU football shirt.

I lived in Seattle at the time and the LSU fans were great!. Seattle did not know what hit it. Tiger fans were every where, and for months after the game everyone in Seattle would talk about how great LSU's fans were. We made a great and positive impression for sure!!

I attended that game and totally enjoyed it....actually the most enjoyable away game that I have ever attended...

And I can assure you that there was a hell of a lot more than 3000 of us there...probably more LSU than UW...

If we ever play there again, I'll go back...

Someone on here posted about one of the restaurants that did a buffet and then boat ride. Boat held 250. There were 225 LSU fans on the boat and it was sold out 3 months ahead. The lady I spoke with said every other game you can just walk up and pay for the buffet.

They opened at 11am and we were there by noon-1pm and easily 75 LSU fans had already packed the bar...for a 6pm boat departure

Still laugh remembering the look on the Park Ranger's face when he told the story of this huge LSU fan walking up to him, mid way up to Mt.Ranier. The Tiger fan was almost in shock when hearing that there were no bars at any point along the way. Gave the Ranger one of those "you gotta be kidding me, right?" looks. But that Irish pub, Kells, was never the same after that wkend & Sat nite. The mgr asked if LSU fans drank like that on Sunday's, too !

I have friends in Seattle that aren't into football that called me up wondering what the hell all these LSU fans were doing there because you couldn't go anywhere without seeing tons of us.
