It seems Tigers go without scoring for extended periods due to not grouping hits! Have they played their best baseball early?

The last two games we had some really unfortunate circumstances. We hit into an ungodly amount of DPs. We hit the ball pretty good this weekend though.

Yes I think it is time to call this one over. Wave the white flag and give up the west lead.

Doesn't seem like last year at all to me. We also beat USCe 2 of 3 late and look how they did in Omaha.

They were playing great early. Everybody was assuming it would last all year. In baseball that rarely happens. They can pick it back up before tournament time though.

Did you watch the game? We were murdering the ball just right at people. Bregs missed a hr by about a foot and we were like a half inch from that blooper scoring more runs. Not to mention the diving catch in center and all the warning track balls... It was jut one of those days

The season is over. Might as well forfeit the rest of the games....

Welcome to baseball.

It's probably more accurate to say that last year, we slumped a little too late.

This team was hot for the first half of the year...it is slumping a bit right now...and we'll be hitting the ball well before it is all over.

Noo man.. they have had quite a tough schedule and this is the very first series loss.. possibly only. Errors cost them yesterday and today none of the hits would go our way. It happens, but this team is still damn strong. Katz needs to get going again, but the back end of the lineup is turning it on!

I watched the game today similar to the BCS title game - just waiting for something to happen. Seems like the hitters are way too impatient b/c they are basically all 1st pitch swinging even late in the game when they need to be more patient. The only players who looked composed and patient at the plate were Katz and Jones - you would expect that from them b/c they are seasoned players with a lot of experience in their young careers. Would like to see the other batters learn more patience at the plate. Can't beat anyone if you can't score.....
