Let him post here. He doesn't know anything about what happens and if he goes in our thread he's going to be incredibly spoiled. Is he just not supposed to post at all about it? There's no chance he spoils anything for y'all.

Jamie is also at his most vulnerable at that point. Physically exhausted, in excruciating pain, and emotionally broken by losing his sword hand, the key to his identity a revered fighter. He was unburdening himself. Is he manipulating her in the process? Well, that sort of manipulation just comes naturally to some people.

That's the thing, I think he's just pretending. Yeah he lost his hand, but he's still rich as frick and part of a powerful family. I'd like to believe Jamie is a changed man, but it feels like a big setup to me.

book one has no benefit to this season
I agree with this except for a dream Ned has after the leg injury. Which in itself is vague and unexplained but it does hint at something pretty big. I won't go further than that.
And for whatever reason it was left out of the show. Ill take my next thoughts to the reader thread.
I'm 200 pages into book 2 and still nothing could really be spoiled yet.

You and I are at right about the same spot.
I agree with you. Don't understand that stuff

Why don't you shut the frick up, stay out of this thread once and for all, and choke on a bag of dicks on your way out the door.

Just finished reading this thread. Here are my thoughts:
I don't get the hate for Grandma Tyrell. She seems pretty badass to me and looks just like Maergery, is that her real Mom/Grandma?
Tyrion is really out of sorts right now and off his game...hate to see him like that and he doesn't seem poised to get his groove back with the Sansa thing getting dumped on him.
Speaking of Sansa, terrible character (not enjoyable) but I feel bad for her and her tug of war situation and I like all the plotting around her...I wonder if she'll ever do anything to redeem herself as being worthwhile.
Joffrey seems like an afterhought these days. I know hes the king and all with a wedding coming up, but he has no real cunning and the moment he tries to do anything monumentally stupid he will get smacked down. I wonder how much longer he lives. He obviously isn't gong to be king at a ripe old age. However, not seeing his assholish behavior as often has made me less interested in seeing him get got. I'm sure it will still be enjoyable though.
Cersei really is the worst.
I'm really liking Jaimie's character a lot more and keep finding my self drawn in by his cunning smoothness and devilish good looks :nohomo:. I'm sure he will turn out to be a turd again soon.
Arya=the bomb. I'm wondering how the whole Brotherhood thing is going to work out. Like if Rob will be cool with just going with the sis for cash thing and leaving them alone. Also wondering if the brotherhood will end up allied with Stannis somehow, even though they are against the lordly folks. Speaking of lordly folks, where does the Baratheon bastard's story end up going? With a king in their midst do they end up being down with royalty? Wonder how his claim to the throne comes back around.
The Theon catch and release and catch again thing was a big mind freak for me...and I loved it. Seems to me that the Boltons are looking to f some shite up with both Jaime and Theon in their grasp, a decent sized fighting force and knowledge of Bran and Riokon on the loose.
I'm wondering what the heck is going to happen to the Nights Watch with the lord commander down and the scouting party in rebellion. don't recall if there is a strong second in command who is back behind the wall who will bitch slap the punks and get everyone in line. You know Snow is feeling conflicted right now, but the tang has got him pretty hooked into the wildlings. I have to guess that he will somehow end up uniting the two sides to fight the white walkers...was the Night's Watch purpose originally equally to fight back the Walkers and the Wildlings? Walkers have to take precedence and winter is coming...
I also wonder why the wildlings even care how many nightwatchmen there are. Since they know that they can climb the wall and sneak past, I wonder why they dont just sneak by and make a beeline for the sunny beaches of south Westeros and live among the southernors like the capital one vikings. seems more rewarding to me.
Dany is getting way more bad assed these days. Don't see how anyone in Westeros currently stands a chance, especially if/when her dragons get bigger. No idea how long it takes for them to mature.

There is that missing Stark we haven't seen since the first episode or two. There was some speculation that he would be with Mance and the Wildlings, but no sign so far.

Seems like appropriate timing to me

Oh yeah, Uncle Benjin. Good point, completely forgot about him. He has to come back into play. Probably soon.

Do you men Benjen Stark, Ned's brother and 1st Ranger of the Night's Watch?

I thought he was the dead corpse that attacked the Lord Commander?

I don't think so, pretty sure that was one of the rangers who went out looking for Benjin in the first couple of episodes and got killed by a White walker

I could totally see Arya sneaking into the Red Keep on Joffrey's Wedding Day and assassinate Joffrey, cut off his head and stick it on a spike, and feed his dick to Cersei before shoving a dagger up her whore arse.
Wow. That was kind of cathartic. Also, NEVER MAKE ARYA'S shite LIST.
