Muff every day all day!
ETA: The intent of the damn poll is to determine the singular best tasting sands I h style for you...one last sandwich to eat, PB or Muff...which is it?

To my knowledge, Meridian is Muffless.
Great PoBoys (shrimp, oyster, catfish) from the Vietnamese Restaurant at the gas station beside the BMW dealership.

Olive mix renders the Muff an un-eatable abomination.
Po Boy by a mile.

Poboy due to options and versatility. You can get shrimp, oyster, catfish, roast beef etc. A well made oyster poboy on some good bread, hand cut fries and 3 cold arse Budweisers is one of the best lunches under the Milky Way. Not trying to underscore the awesomeness of a good muff by any means. They're great. Even the mustardless bastardization they serve down in NOLA.

I'm Italian, and I love muff. But those two are mutually exclusive.
I can't put the muff on a pedastal.
Poboy vote here.

Po boy. Too many options and variations.

This is tough, I eat poboys more often but man a good Muff is hard to beat.

Would the milk bar have a "muff" style bread?
If so, then that is the best bread in NOLA>

x Infinity. I'm not afraid to admit that I just don't like muffalettas. Never have, ever will.

Central Grocery muffuletta over Old Tyme Grocery poboy. Both are top of their category but because I can't get Central Grocery as often as I can Old Tyme, I believe the absence makes my heart grow fonder.
Sidenote before some smartass says this isn't CG v/s OT, I used them because as muffuletta's & poboys go, these are my two favorites & great representatives of "their kind".

Po Boys all day but that is because i hate olives.

If I had a Poboy yesterday, a Muff would be my choice for today. The reverse will rule as well.
But I'm not near a source for either, so I'd like someone to send me a Care Package with one of each. TIA.

I think I'd rather a muff from Nor-Joes than any poboy on most occasions. Something about a muff made on proper Italian style bread and good olive salad just can't be beat. A good roast beef poboy comes awfully close though. The problem is that there are too few places that make consistently good roast beef poboys.

Couldn't agree more. But if forced to choose I'd go PoBoy, for various reasons already mentioned.
Although its funny, I hate olives with a passion, but I thoroughly enjoy Muff's. Something about the combination of meats and cheese and bread with the olive salad just works.
