Prologue was te guy trying to kill Sam at the Fist and then the White Walkers come

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Jaime get his hand cut off later? I know that his early scenes in book 3 were part of season 2 but he still needs to have that fight with brienne, get captured, brought back to harrenhal and then have his hand removed, correct? Seems unlikely that this happens in episode 1.

Jamie's hand doesn't get cut off until his 3rd POV, 22nd chapter overall. They might include the fight where Brienne crushes that boat with a rock.


1. PROLOGUE- 3 blasts for white walkers, we saw this in the last episode of season 2
2. JAIME I- Jamie and Brienne see the hanged whores who "lay with lions"- then they fight a Tully sailship
3. CATELYN I- she's in a cell in Riverrun waiting on Edmure, talking to her senile father Hoster Tully, gets word Rob has an non-serious injury
4. ARYA I- Arya dreams she's Nymeria and kills some of the Brave Companions
5. TYRION I- Bronn wakes Tyrion up while he's healing, visits Tywin who is a dick to him
6. DAVOS I- Davos watches on his tiny rock as a ship approaches.1 He has been on the island for days and is weak from sickness and hunger. He considers letting the ship pass and dying in peace. Finally, he decides to hail it. He is noticed and rescued.
7. SANSA I- Sansa dines with the Tyrells, and tells Margeary and Olenna how awful Joffrey is, Butterbumps sings "the bear and the maiden fair"
8. JON I- Jon meets Mance
9. DAENERYS I- Daeny watches her dragons fly on her new ship, Jorah tells her tales of the Unsullied and then tries to hook up with her- They're going to have to show the introduction of Barriston"Arstan Whitebeard" Selmy when he saves her life at the dock
10. BRAN I- Bran controls Summer and makes a kill- the Reeds discuss the 3 eyed crow with him- They'll have to introduce them at some point in this episode

These are all the first POVs in the book- I'm relistening to it as we speak- no idea what'll be in this episode but I have a good idea.
