What do you guys think about the game.

I was very meh. It felt like Assassin's Creed on an island.
Great environment and graphics...decent enough game I guess.

This is the best way to describe it. Fun game, but it gets stale

More uninteresting than stale. It felt forced the whole way through. They tried to develop this story about jason and his friends and why he should care about them but I never felt interested in it at all. I mean why the frick do I care about saving a bunch of douchey rich kids? They tried to play up unexplained backstories between jason and his girlfriend to make it feel real, but it was never enough to really interest the gamer. There was literally zero emotional investment. In the end they give you the choice to kill your friends or save them and I felt completely apathetic.
The graphics were phenomenal, the gunplay and hunting mechanics tight and fun, the exploration fun, but I never felt like I was discovering something for myself. People described it as skyrim on an island with guns but FC3 doesn't hold a candle to skyrim in immersion. In skyrim, every little detour you made had its own story and relationship to other areas. The only great thing about exploring in FC3 was seeing the views and hunting to unlock more crap.
Vaas was the only interesting character in the whole experience. You want to know what makes him tick because you wish jason were one tenth as cool as Vaas. You end up killing Vaas halfway through the game with some fricking quicktime segment? Weak shite.
Worth playing through once but not near a goty list.

God the friend storyline was terrible. I didn't give a single shite about them at the end.
Vaas died way too early and Hoyt didn't fill the void.

^ what he said. For the end choice, I found myself not giving a shite either way because none of the characters mattered to me. Citra's kind of ugly though. Overall, I'm glad the game was free with my graphics card.

Summed it up perfectly.
The main character ranks as one of the most annoying video game characters of all time, a list that includes Navi from Zelda and that little bastard from FF13.

I disagree with everyone in this thread.

I wish the skill learned/ power ups where more dynamic. It seemed like that we're all the same and really didn't add anything to your game play.

the problem was that there were so few that were really good. I mean of course i want extra health slots, breathe holding, and basic takedowns, but really I don't give a shite about 80% of the other skills.
Regarding jason, the whole choices/who am I dynamic doesn't work if there aren't any choices to be made. The story is linear so they just paced the story to try to make it feel like jason was torn between his friends and the rakyat. Where's the fun in that? I'm not trying to take away from it as it was a pretty damn good FPS that tried a couple other things. In all fairness I probably would feel dissatisfied with the stories and writing of other graphically challenging FPS like crysis, BO2, etc. Maybe I just don't enjoy the genre that much.

I loved it. Voice acting in the game was top notch. I thought the story line missions were a ton of fun
Yea, finding the towers & liberating the camps got slightly repetitive, but I could always find new and fun ways to do them.
Bow & arrow FTW!
also, first mission with the glide suit was the tits. Best escape I've ever had in a game.

True.
Vaas was the man. It almost got to the point I couldn't wait to get caught again, so that I could hear him go off on another rant.
Also, frick the Kamodo Dragons.

Well, there sort of is this little decision you have to make at the end of the game.

that's my point. putting one choice that changes the final cutscene doesn't make any less linear. there are zero consequences for that decision. The story was just lame.

Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?
