lsu is 0- eternity in games that will win a crowd over

Every single game that momentum is coming to lsu basketball that can finally win the fickle fanbase over, lsu loses, and never in gold fashion.
In the last 4 years anytime we have gained momentum, begged for people to come, they play as bad as they can.
And today that didn't change. Now they have to restart again.
Hopefully an nit game can turn arou.d this horrible trend. Just sucks that for first time all year my section was over half full, with full rows, and to hear people say "i thought
they were suppose to be better"
Most frustrating game in a long time as these guys played hard all year. But today they fell on their asses.
Hickey played horrible.no court vision, turnovers, and no ba movement.
Job was a ghost
Coleman who I love was reallly bad
Carmouche played hard as hell though

Really sucked 4 years ago. That shite loss versus auburn put us as an 8 seed vs the GOAT UNC...win that game and we could have rode on Thorton's back for who knows how long.

Meh, last game of the year. The first few games with the new freshman class will draw people back in

hopefully nit game at home would help us. I think the streak ends next year when we have more talent.

The rest of the SEC fricked us that year because everybody else sucked and it hurt our RPI. That team was loaded with talented vets. Only team in the tournament that had a lead over UNC in the second half.
Sweet 16/Elite 8 atleast.

Last year's Marquette game?
Posted on 3/9/13 at 3:00 pm to Broski
I know this is a ridiculous comparison but Mizzou on Offense really reminds me of them. Wouldn't be surprised to see them go deep in the tournament.

I was thinking exactly what you posted

Not talking about a good team we beat. Talking about where a big crowd shows up.can't win those
Marquette was a blast but sma crowd.vocal though

Then we beat a ranked Mizzou too this year.
OP is full of shite.
Edit: I see you clarified to where we had big crowds. Meh.

You think mizzou was a big crowd? That game didn't have a lot of buzz because we had 1 conf win going Into it
Posted on 3/9/13 at 3:05 pm to fightingtiger2335
Very true post, but I think next year is the beginning of greatness for this program and we will win many of these future big games

He's exaggerating, but it is def true to an extent.

Xavier 09 loss
Vandy senior night 09 loss
Who gives a shite about 10 and 11
We go on a nice run and choke away the end of 12.
Today.
I thought maybe the 3OT Alabama game would have been one of those bring back the magic games. But not after the weak crowd that showed up for the Arkansas game.

Yep that was awful. We just have shitty basketball fans. Even when we were in the top 25 in Johnson's first year, we couldn't sell out.
It will take consistent weeks in the top 20 before we can average more than 10k a game. Hopefully that will happen next year.

Unfortunately you're right. OM and UF this season. UK last season are the most recent examples. Granted all those opponents were all very good teams, by they absolutely thumped LSU at home. Gotta win win a few of these (or at minimum play well) if they want the fans to come out. Like it or not, that's just the way it is right now

win or lose, this game wouldnt have even been remember tomorrow. It meant nothing
Posted on 3/9/13 at 3:33 pm to LSUzealot
Today's crowd really wanted to get into it. Anytime within 12 noise would pick up and not bad...then we frick up and end any mo

Only good thing about JOB is that he's come back down to earth the last 5+ games. Hopefully he doesn't overestimate his talent and doesn't have the wrong people in his ear telling him to leave early (which I've heard he may). When easily needs at least another year in college.
Coleman I just don't know what his deal is. Sometimes he can look like a pure scorer and then other times he looks like an inept handicapped kid out there. I want him to be awesome, he just isn't.
And it sucks that Carmouche was only here for a year. Dude was really coming into his own the last half of SEC play. We'll miss him for sure but when you can go .500 in league and Carmouche is the best player (by far) that you lose, that's a good omen for the future.
Oh, and I'd say the 3OT Bama game is one that would've gotten casual fans interested.

Yeah the crowd was trying. And I love my middle aged dude that goes to every game and always tries to get the crowd into it.
Did someone steal his seat? He's always down low near the benches. Today his was on the other side middle of the way up.
