American Pie and Superbad are not good movies. Just because you giggled at the stupid arse jokes doesn't mean they deserve to be on this list.

And to whoever said I was in HS in the 80's, I graduated in 2000.

Weird Science
Johnny be Good

Both are classics in my mind. Maybe not top 10 tho.

SuperBad is ok but neither is a particularly well made film

All the Right Moves isn't really a good movie...no one really even talked much about it in the 80's.

Superbad and American Pie aren't good movies either but at least they have some Porkys in it - which isn't a really good movie either.

...and I'm not being a total 80's snob...love Election and American Grafitti and Clueless.

But John Hughes was the master of this genre so many of his movies will be on the list.

American Grafitti
Breakfast Club
Election
Fast Times
Grease
Can't Buy Me Love
Sixteen Candles
Ferris Bueller
Dazed and Confused
Rushmore

That would be my Top 10 with Risky Business just missing the cut...b/c the movies chosen should focus on school or having just graduated. Pretty in Pink honorable mention but never warmed to that film.

Nobody said The Wood, Boyz In The Hood, 10 Things I Hate About You or Napoleon Dynamite. Draconian Sanctions list is a joke.

To hard to name just 10 but in no order:

Hoosiers
Lean on Me
Fast Times
Sixteen Candles
Ferris
Superbad
Dazed and Confused
Better off Dead
Weird Science
American Pie

I left of breakfast club due to I'm so sick of it. I also could have put The Outsiders on here. But left off cause its not really set in a school but they are High School kids. Same could be said for American Beauty.
