So would you do it. As a celtics fan, I say no. Howard terrifies me right now.

Danny Ainge would become the dumbest executive in the NBA if he did this hypothetical deal.

Howard seems like a terrible investment given what he'll want. The back problems, the attitude, not an elite offensive player.

Since Rondo is out on injury, can he be traded or is that against league rules?

People are so emo and reactionary.

"Howard sucks BLAH!!!" GTFO

Howard just had his back cut open and he's not healthy yet. If his legs do actually get numb during games, then he shouldn't even be playing.

If the Celtics docs check out Howard and decide he'll eventually get back to 100%, Danny Ainge would run Forrest Gump-style to LA to personally pick up Howard.

What MEH trade! Two big names switching, but they are just exchanging the youngest most talented guys on each roster that just goes to a roster with older players who are going to retire in the next 3 years. So its a neutral deal in the end IMO, because as they get better and hit their primes the core rosters of their respective teams will be declining drastically. Anyways, I would hate this trade because its just another big trade ONLY involving the NBA's media darlings, so IDGAF NBA, and your shite can DIAF.

Howard is arguably the worst person in the NBA.

self righteous, arrogant, never proven to truly be worth the money/time, and has a sense of entitlement through the roof. when the going gets tough, he throws others under the bus and wants to be traded. a true sack of shite this guy is.

The Lakers as they are now with Steve Nash and Howard run their entire offense through Kobe.

At least Nash can shoot extremely well.

If they get Rondo, I can't possibly see them running their offense through Rondo. If Dantoni doesn't run it through Nash, it's hard to believe he'll run it through Rondo. That being said, how would Rondo thrive with LAL?

So the lakers want to have three guys who insist on having the ball in their hands? I really don't see how this is the answer to their problem even though I'm a huge Rondo fan. Maybe they have another trade ready to go.
