A famous one was the "Behind Blue Eyes" Gears of War commercial. I knew non-gamers that liked that.
My personal psyche level (non trailer) was reading articles in Computer Games Srategy Plus, PC Gamer etc when Ultima Online was being developed. I've never been so excited to get a game before or since.

The Gears of War trailers, all 3 of them, were my favorites.
The visuals mixed with the amazing soundtracks generated an emotional response. Ive heard quite a few people describe them the same way. Emotional trailers.
