Lots of homer picks for Parish. I mean what they have done so far is good, but they only have 1 year round brew and 1 special release. IMO they don't have enough product out to beat out the competition.
I agree. Canebrake is good, but not spectacular, and Grand Reserve was pretty decent (hoping it gets better with age). I have no doubt Parish can be something great, but at this point in the tourny I had to drop them for lack of more samples.

Brooklyn makes a great stout but they can be hit or miss. I took Parish by a hair.
brooklyn vs parish is like bringing a gun to a knife fight.

Well said... I don't want it to seem like I'm bagging on Parish because they have a bright future, but the sample size is just to small right now.

Yup. Brooklyn has been around the block quite a few times. Garret Oliver is one of the best guys in he business.

To each his own. Maybe it was a homer pick, I just see so much potential for Parish.
Brooklyn has years of experience and makes some good brews. I can't justify dropping $25 on a bottle of Black Ops though and I'm not a fan of their Sorachi Ace. Their BCS is great though.

That's why I couldn't bring myself to vote for them. Maybe by this time next year, they'll have more for us to have tried.

I'm a little surprised by the lack of votes for Jolly Pumpkin. I know there aren't a lot of big sour fans in this part of the country, but JP's beers are all really well made.

I think it's because of the bracket it was in. I had a hard time between Stone, Brooklyn, and JP.
