I agree with JBeam. The kid just has a different feeling than Shep or JJ coming in. He seems to have more composure and is relaxed enough to let plays develop in front of him. Very good sign, not to mention he can throw and has wheels.

I like how his feet doesn't stop moving while in the pocket. He's never flat-footed like he has cement in his cleats. I also like the touch on his deep ball at the end of the highlight.

He didn't throw too many deep passes in the film but I do like his footwork, accuracy, and escapability. We got 2 really good QB's.

I like both of the quarterbacks.
Jennings film looked a lot better than Rettig's (based off of the situations he was in).
I saw Jennings scramble out of the pocket and then look down field to a receiver, which I liked.
Jennings also looks like he knows when to get out of bounds and go down which will be important.
Jennings might have a stronger arm than Rettig.
It looks like when he has time he gets his feet set to throw.
I saw him step up in the pocket once in the highlights. He might be a little jumpy, I really don't know what kind of an offensive line he had though.
Those are my amateur observations.

Love the way he threw to his second and third options.
Great feet, not extremely fast but elusive.
I think it's his delivery but looks a little like Russel Wilson.

Great talent! How is his character and leadership abilities? I'm all in on the obvious talent.

From what I read and interviews I saw, he seems to be good regarding character and leadership. We will have to wait and see how he does here.

Nice quick, but smooth release. Looks to be accurate with the short to medium range passes. I only saw him hit one go-route in the highlights.

Honestly this is the first time I've seen video on Jennings. All I can say is I had no clue what kind of player LSU was getting

Jennings 4 Heisman. Might as well get the campaign started now.

previous link compared to this LINK and it's a no brainer who has the better skills. Don't know who called that video of Hayden a highlights tape but not so much.

You probably won't be so impressed when you see them play. You're looking at highlights, #1, and #2 they're against grossly inferior talent. In college these guys will have to deal with complex play books (rantards' views to the contrary), dense pre-snap reads, lightening quick post-snap reads, and transitioning to second and third receivers. All of this before that great talent you're seeing on these highlights can make itself felt. Hopefully one of them can handle this.
Currently, we have two very highly ranked QBs on our team, and folks seem dissatisfied with them. But they came to LSU trailing clouds of high school glory just like these guys.

I love this kids footwork in the pocket. It looks like he is always "squared up" when he throws.

Here comes what? Your overreaction to my post? That already happened.

I remember watching this LINK and thinking our future was wicked awesome....
Let the young men progress... who knows how high their ceilings are. I don't care how great they are in high school - I care very much how great they become in college.
