I hope they announce Pep Hamilton as OC after they announce Izdik or Sundquist as GM.

Didn't want CC anywhere near the Jets' offense. That would be like lighting garbage on fire, his Air Coryell offense would have been disastrous.

Cam landed his first coaching gig in 1983 and has coached in every season from that season to the day the Ravens let him go in December.

He turns 52 in February, hardly "too old" to hang them up.

So, if he's motivated to coach (and interviewing for the Jets OC gig suggests that he is), and the NFL isn't interested, and he's never sat out even a single season since 1983...well, Les contacting him to gauge his interest doesn't seem so far fetched, IMO.
