Yeah, we can argue about how culpable Te'o was, but I don't think we can argue about if he was culpable at all. He talked about his girlfriend having died of cancer 2 days after he found out it was a hoax. If he was just scared and embarrassed and wasn't trying to play it up all he needed to say is that he has lost loved ones to cancer, but he specifically said girlfriend.

ESPN gets ratings but it is fun to watch them in damage control mode. I am surprise that not all personalities are towing the company line but that is a byproduct of embrace debate.

Lets go with that he was duped, which means that to some extent(at least up until Dec 6th) he was telling what he thought was the truth...so the following questions need to be answered:
Where are the flowers he sent?
What address did he send them to? What company did he use to send them?
Where is the game ball? I doubt ND made him send the game ball himself so what address did ND send the game ball to?
Most importantly, who is the girl on the other end of the phone every night for 8 hours a night?
Who played the roll of her dad on the phone?
If it's somebody his cousin knew, where is the cousin in all of this?
