The majority of this board wants Te'o to be an evil mastermind.
There's another large section that wants him to be gay, as if that matters at all.
There's a small minority that thinks R. Tuisiasopo planned this shite and Te'o lied/mislead/kept the story going once he found out shite was fake (raises hand).
That's the crazy thing- so much uncertainty and speculation with hardly any hard evidence.
The only real facts are that Ronnaiah is a douche and he's involved in deception often, so I use that as a benchmark when looking at this story.

No, what I'm trying to say is there any story out there or any mention of his gf before she died? All the reports of them dating for the year are from Te'o after "she died".
If that's the case: Te'o was probably flirting with Lennay. Ronnie tried to get $$$ out of him in April from the car accident. Then with the death in September. Te'o used it for notoriety. Embellishing his relationship with her after the fact.
