I shot a bobcat this weekend and I want to have it mounted. The guy who does my deer does great work on deer, but I've never seen a bobcat by him, so I'm exploring all options. If any one has a recommendation, please let me know. I'd love to to see examples of their work.
Cue the crazy bobcat pictures
Here is the cat. 31lbs and very little damage

Darryl did a bobcat mount for my grandpa a long time ago and it is still holding up. Looks good too.
You could call and ask if he has one in his shop and go check it out.

I don't have a recommendation of who to go to but I can tell you who not to go to based on the OB's favorite mount

Not sure where you are located but Sonny Amato in Central does outstanding work. His bobcat mounts are the best I have ever seen. Definitely not the cheapest you will find but work is top notch. Taxidermybysonny dot com

Didn't your momma tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?

I'll agree with Sonny. I've been to his studio a few times and he does great work. Find him on Facebook and he should have pictures of his stuff.

John, I wasn't really intersted in your opinion. Diesel asked for some taxidermists names and a photo. I'm not wild about the base of the mount, but the I think the cat came out ok. Oh yeah, GFY.

Do a lot if research before committing.
Bobcats are easy to screw up even for good taxidermist.
