Not bad.

I had completely forgotten they had been good enough to make the bcs before, or at least had been hyped enough to make a bcs game before. Seriously what team has 4 bcs appearances in the bcs era and has been less relevant.

This goes back to scheduling. If you play a weak schedule you are not going to be prepared to take on a team like Bama or LSU in a bowl game.
This is why the SEC is winning titles and bowl games, they play good teams for 8-9 weeks during the season and are ready come bowl time.

not sure I'd call their scheduling weak. when you play Miami, OU, Stanford, Michigan, Michigan St, and USC I don't think you're ducking anyone. they're just not "there" yet talent-wise.

did they travel back in time to play those teams, because in 2012 they were all dog shite except Stanford and maybe OU

You'd think with all the extra money, they'd be able to buy their way out of the butthurt. Apparently that's not the case though.

I am sure that warms Irish fans' hearts. "We're a rich fraud!"

Doesn't ND get some special seat in the playoff board committee or some stupid shite?

And ND gave up 617 yards of offense in that game. It's a good representation of a game that wasn't as close as the score indicated.
