I dunno man, the ACC and Big East get a lot of respect on this board. So not much.

I've always felt ND has a shot so this doesn't change anything. this isn't last years bama defense, they can be beat

Alabama didn't even play Florida.

The Cotton Bowl on Friday could be a decent indicator. Both ND and Bama played an opponent (arguably the biggest for each) in that game. But even that has to be taken with a grain of salt, of course.

USCw scored more points on ND's vaunted D than they did on GT's piss poor D.

Still think Bama is gonna crush ND

not at all frankly

but then again going into the bowl season I felt like the bottom half of the SEC was bad and the top half of the SEC teams were good but had flaws.

I think the Alabama team of this year is nowhere near as good or consistent as their 2009 or 2012 teams but depending on what kind of team shows up you could either see them do what they did in their bowl in 2008 (blowout loss to utah) or 2010 (blowout win over msu)

agreed, but Bama is nothing like LSU/Florida. They have a competent offense

Alabama could have easily been 0-3 vs the 3 decent teams they played, easily and gave up a ton of yards. They are far from a lock

Bama is on that whole other tier.

Right? No chance. Bama still by 4tds right?

No change.

ND is well coached and disciplined. They play with good fundamentals. If they play a clean game, they can win. Bama struggled with all of the good teams that they played and even lost a game.

still feel the same.

Bama ONLY played three good teams all year and could have easily lost all three games.

Bama is a quality team, but not great, just like ND.

I was thinking about this earlier actually. I originally had ND's chances around 10%, now I think it's more like 35-40%. If OU beats TAMU by 2 possessions I think I may put it at 50/50

The sec has been overrated for a long time. These loses do not change my opinion at all.

Didn't read through the thread so don't know if this has been said, but it doesn't change my thought at all. These games have been a bunch of unmotivated, disappointed kids mad that they aren't playing in the title game playing againsta bunch of kids who are in the game of their lives.

I've always had a small gut feeling ND would pull it out. These bowl games have proven the SEC is vastly overrated this year. I think ND wins.
