That was definitely a clown comment, but Anderson did not have a good game today. Offensively maybe, but he was absolutely abused on defense. Very, very badly.

It was incredibly hard to watch between him and Zaza.

Hornets couldn't match the athleticism of the ATL bigs tonight at all.

I love Greivis Vasquez's passion, but he should be a combo guard off bench, Lopez a backup center + NOLA has no SF of NBA caliber on roster.
Fletcher Mackel analysis

Can't really argue with most of that

@FletcherMackel
Hornets (Pelicans) need to draft Shabazz Muhammad or Otto Porter (I LOVE Porter) and try somehow to pry Nando deColo away from Spurs.

Somebody ask Da Fletch for his definition of combo guard please.

You don't love Porter Fletch, you probably have never seen him play a game and your life. You just love him because you saw that this board love him. (I don't FWIW)

yeah i hate when my point guard is one rebound shy of a triple double too, fricking pisses me off we even have the piece of shite on our roster.

not to mention his clutch free throw shooting.

I'm still trying to understand the +/- stat. The Hornets lost by 9, Vasquez had a +3 in the 39 minutes he played. So that means that in the 9 minutes he didn't play, the Hornets got outscored by 12, right?

Something like that.

And they were outscored by 7 during Roberts' 7 minutes.
In the end, the biggest factor in the game was the Hornets inability to contain Josh Smith at the 3. SF problems remain.

He was abusing Anderson when they matched up.

Yeah Smith and Zaza were abusing us out there. That second half was tough.
When Gordon goes back to starting, I would like to see Rivers come in when Vasquez needs a breather and run the point, instead of Roberts. Let him and Mason come in. Let Austin take his lumps now and do what they drafted him to do. If he can't do it...at least you know.
