Some of you act like posting a link forces you to purchase. I know there priced high just like everything right now. These are some of the best subsonic defense rounds you can get and hard to come by at the moment. Thought someone may be interested.

First impressions, reticle shows up much better on 2X and up. Illumination seems a little weak. I'll try a brand new battery. Need a fore grip to stabilize the rifle better.
ETA : Glass is clear. I see another one in my future.

I got into 5.45 when .22LR was impossible to find in 2013 and 7N6 was like 10 CPR. Even if Trump or whoever were to have the ATF reverse its classification of 7N6 being armor piercing, I don't think we'll ever see milsurp ammo prices like that for 7N6.
Supposedly 7N6 is fantastic on hogs, BTW.

I love 12.5" in general but not exactly sure how 5.45 performs in that length.
AK-74 Kinks are use a 7.5" barrel length I believe, but just because the Soviet military issued it I wouldn't necessarily conclude that it is effective.
I'd look at how much velocity you're losing going down to 12.5" and compare that to M193 velocity decreare in a 5.56 12.5" and see if they are similar or what. I think 5.45 is loaded to a lower pressure than M193 so the velocity decrease might be pretty substantial.

Sorry if I was unclear. I was thinking questioning if the Raptor scope would be too much on my 12.5" 5.56 build. But I'm going to do it anyway. Overkill is my middle name.
