Not sure if it was you, or one of the others, but i couldn't make it to the meeting last night. Fiancee' was sick, and didn't want to bring her to a smoky bar.

But january i plan on being at the meeting.

Probably not, but I guess it's possible.

I've been in the redstick homebrewers club for a number of years. If we've met it was probably at one of their meetings or events.

Lost Abbey Angel's Share

frick them. i will never buy beer from that brewery EVER again. The batch of Angel's Share I bought a couple years ago was flat. They knew it and still shipped it to stores. Stores found out but it was too late in most cases. I emailed the brewery and got nothing in a response from them. 3 bottles of that shite was like $60. Never again Port Brewing...never again

Hmmm...every thing I've had from them has been stellar. Ditto for Port. Had an Angel's Share last week. It was great.

Bell's Hopslam

How was this? I want to try it so bad... I either missed the thread or wasn't enlightened at the time. Bell's seems like a damn fine brewery judging from reviews, and THA is easily in my top 5 IPA's at the moment.

OK, I might need to update my list with Pipeworks Galaxy Unicorn. I feel like a beer hipster--this beer makes me want to say "Yea, I liked Citra hopped beers a long time ago. Now I'm into Galaxy hops -- you've probably never heard of them."

Hopslam is so freaking good. It's like Two Hearted Ale's big brother.

Right there with you. When their barrel aged stuff isn't flat and infected it is great but it's a crap shoot. I will only buy it on tap. Their ipas are solid but I only buy local on hoppy beers.
