David Shaw

seems like he would have a well disciplined team.

That's tough. A lot of the quality college coaches are built for that game and not the pros.

David Shaw will probably have an NFL job within 10 years, so I guess him.

I've said this before but I believe Bob Stoops would translate really well to the NFL. He knows how to put together a good coaching staff and his teams always have had a good vertical passing game which is critical in today's NFL.

Saban, because it's the only place he hasn't succeeded, and he's a damn good coach

Or take a shot with Chip Kelly if I have a qb that is mobile

I'd probably go with David Shaw. He's done well at Stanford post Harbaugh/Luck, plus he was the OC during Harbaugh's years with the Cardinal. He was a QB/WR coach on a few different teams in the pros and did well, so successful NFL experience is a bonus. Shaw was also coached by Bill Walsh and Denny Green at Stanford.

Saban. He would still be coaching in the NFL had they signed Brees instead of Culpepper.

Saban wasn't really as bad as some people claim the first time around. I think he would learn from his mistakes during his first stint, especially if you give him a team with decent personnel.

I think this season has proved that Payton has a lot to do with Brees success.

I'd take Kelly at the moment.

Chip or Brian Kelly? Both are solid options. Probably 2 out of the top 3 in my opinion.
