If someone was to order smoked sausage from Teet's, what else would you recommend ordering from there?

smoked panse (ponce), jalapeno cheese smoked panse,
smoked pork tasso...not sure what new seasoned/prepared meats they carry, but I know they offer a large selection.

+1 on the jalapeño cheese ponce... One of the best things I've ever tasted.

Along with the last two suggestions, I highly recommend the bone-in tasso. It is actually just a smoked pork shoulder steak (boston butt). Not as dry as tasso and not as fatty as slab bacon.

This would be delicious to throw in a chicken sauce picante or jambalaya or a pot of white beans.. or slather with Jack Miller's barbeque sauce on white bread.. That's what you call Hog-Heaven.
Teet's boudin is good, too.

The Texaco station at exit 17 on I-49 has some damn good smoked sausage.

I like to cook one of each, one smoked and one green.

Is this where you would get the sausage back in school? Damn, that was good stuff.

It is, and is just as good today.

This is real good smoked deer sausage. Rough chopped stuffing, natural casing filled to the max. Good smoke flavor. Made by a local processor.
I heat up both sides to a simmer in water, then slice and fry. Deer sausage tends to dry out grilled.
I like pork sasusage better, but this is a fine example of what good sausage should look like. National brands with their smooth ground stuffing can not compare at all.

Teet's
So this thread is settled, Teet's is the best. Good to know

I have to agree with the OP on this..... although I've never had Teets...... Bourgeios is okay, but I dont think it's as good as Verons from the Verons in Lutcher.
