I personaly am fine with 10 or 11 win seasons, however it is the manner in which this team has struggled on offense that I am not okay with. The trend as we are in the SEC today is for more offensive fire power, and any realist knows LSU is behind in creativity. We don't need the spread we need more imagination and better play design. Our defense is trending down if it continues the offense will have to step up. If Miles doesn't open it up where will the best offensive skill players want to go?

You are worried about a coach at Ole Miss? OLE MISS?

And also worried about "potential" hires are Arkansas - who has never won an SEC, Tennessee - who we never play and has hired two awful coaches in a row, and Auburn - who is in complete and utter disarray.

And also worried about Oregon and other national teams, which the SEC has over and over shown to be better.

Suck it up, buttercup. All those other schools are gonna have a bear of a time keeping up with LSU.

yes, just yes. couldnt agree more with this post

I certainly think the window is getting smaller for another NC. Next year the schedule is less favorable and I see another 10-2 season, or something close.

We will be a very good team until Miles retires, but I am lowering NC expectations.

LSU will be fine if Les takes the reigns off of the offense.

Oregon has been to a BCS bowl the last three years. This will be 4 straight.

Better hope there is a mass exodus of UGA players to the NFL. It's all about individual team schedules, injuries, and suspensions. 10-2 might be the upper limit in 2013.

He has done well in the most dominant era of SEC football, or college football for that matter. Something tells me he will be just fine.

Faulk, collins, porter, turner, and alexander on the o-line.

Mett came around and landry/obj starting to play. Hill, hilliard, and blue in the back field.

Strong young lb's and db's on defense.

#2 recruiting class so far.

I think we in good shape next year and beyond.

Straw man argument. We have the same record as them. They are second best in their conference. We are fifth.

SEC>>>>>>>>>>PAC 12

Oregon has a higher winning pctg over this period.

Interesting talking to their fans since many live here, and how all the talk is about getting to the next level. Many LSU fans are criticized for doing the exact same thing.

Oregon only has 1 loss. In what world is 10-2 the same as 11-1?

The PAC-12 also plays 9 conference games so that's one more guaranteed conference loss for every team in the division. They're also closer to parity whereas the SEC has Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn, Arkansas, and Missouri that were basically guaranteed wins for a half dozen SEC teams this year. And MSU and Ole Miss were pretty close to that as well.
