SEC divisional tie-breaker
NCAA Standings
Two-way tie: head-to-head goes to UGA
Currently all Bama's. IF Auburn beats Bama plus LSU and A&M win out:
Three-way tie:
1: Once reduced to two-teams, it will go to head-to-head
2: Combined head-to-head records: all 1-1
3: Divisional record: A&M 5-1, LSU 5-1, Bama 4-2 ... BAMA OUT - falls to two-way tie-breaker.
LSU beat A&M - LSU goes to Atlanta

B. THREE (OR MORE) TEAM TIE
1. (Once the tie has been reduced to two teams, go to the two-team tie-breaker format.)
2. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams.
3. Record of the tied teams within the division. 4. Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.
5. Overall record vs. non-division teams.
6. Combined record vs. all common non-divisional teams.
7. Record vs. common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference (divisional and non-divisional) record and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.
8. The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the last weekend of regular-season games shall be the divisional representative in the SEC Championship Game, unless the second of the tied teams is ranked within five-or-fewer places of the highest ranked tied team. In this case, the head-to-head results of the top two ranked tied teams shall determine the representative in the SEC Championship Game.

The other fact: Auburn sucks, so this is almost assuredly irrelevant. I've just seen people getting the tie-breaker thing wrong over and over.

Would be the biggest upset I can remember in a long time. Bama's second team could beat Auburn...pretty handily.

Yea War Damn Eagle!

We just need auburn to throw the record book out the window and play with some good ole fashioned hate in their hearts.

Not that it really matters, but is the game in Auburn?

Saban don't care, he's going pro after this season.

I like how everyone keeps saying this. I realize it isn't a very good chance, but we do realize this is the same Auburn team that brought us down to the wire only lost 12-10 right? A team that now is playing as well as anyone in the country.
Bama is down right now. They are emotionally spent after the week in TIger Stadium and now losing to aTm. Anything can happen. Teams play out of their minds once or twice a year. Auburn played out of their minds against us and maybe they can do it again. I don't think its likely. Probably about a .01% chance, but crazy shite happens in this sport. See the Backyard Brawl 2007.

Ain't gonna happen. But, crazier things have happened before. We'll see how this Bama team responds to the loss this weekend.

They play Western Carolina.....I'm sure they will be fine.
I don't think we have ever had an Iron Bowl go the way we needed it to.

No it isn't. This Auburn team quit a month ago, not to mention they are 2 QBs removed.

U really believe Western Carolina has a chance against Bama! Please.

Well I'm glad to know you're in their locker room and at their practices to know how geared up for the Iron Bowl they will be.

Their QB sucked arse anyway. The only reason they were in the game was because of their defense. Defense could play well against Bama.
Again, don't think it is likely to happen, but anything can happen in the SEC, let alone a major rivalry like this one.

Auburn is as bad of a football team as I can remember in the SEC. They packed it in
