Just give it up Bob. You are like those sad little humanoids that still went to Swaggarts church after he got caught with the hooker. They just couldn't admit they had been wrong even when the evidence was overwhelming. Miles is slowly but surely grinding all your criticism down to dust by just continuing to pile up victories. All the little nits you guys pick are being made irrelevant by the growing empirical evidence that is Miles win loss record. All the happenings of the last couple of weeks should have helped you gain some perspective and eroded your irrational fear of Saban and Bama being infallible. That particular feeling, is what leads most of our fans to continually underrate CLM.

Very well said...

On the other hand we are LSU. We have a state full of talent all to ourselves. Auburn has Bama, Arkansas outside of Springdale doesn't have much, and neither does Tennessee. Just saying.
Meh, top talent has always left the state. Auburn and Bama have out recruited us and they have more players to choose from so it equals out in the end. Auburn is really close to ATL. So they are already and hour away from more recruits than the whole state of Louisiana. Your argument holds no water
The guy is a great coach and All of our fans need to finally give the guy some fricking credit.

How the hell have they won so much, historically? Best coaches in cf history?
Tennessee spends more on recruiting than any other team in the SEC

On weather or not Boo Boo would be accompanying Yogi.

That talent doesn't have to stay in Louisiana. And hasn't, when we've had the wrong coach in past years.

I love the 2007 team, but I get what that guy was saying. A 2 loss NC is an anomaly and makes the 2007 team look weak compared to other NC teams. I feel like a lot of fans across the country kind of shrug off 2007 as being a year where no one team really claimed the NC and it kind of just fell to LSU by default.

Getting a guy who wins 80% isn't the norm. Getting two in a row is rare. Getting 3 in a row, I don't think there is any historical precedent for this. I'm enjoying it.

Amazing someone with his record seems to need to be defended, against his own.

I think he's a great recruiter, a great manager for the program, and a great representative for the university. I just don't think he makes great decisions on gameday. Things that should be second nature to a head coach such as clock management and deciding what to do on 4th downs continue to be issues at times. I just don't think he thinks well on his feet. Don't get me wrong, I am a Les Miles fan. I just wish he would hand over the controls to someone else on gameday.

The fact that ARK,TENN, and AUB or struggling in recruiting is all do the staff the have in place...i agree CLM is a grt coach top 3 in the countryi believe... LSU isnt the only team that recruits the talent in Louisiana..So there for he does a grt job of gettn all the in state talent and he does an excellent job of gettn out of state talent.....I wouldnt trade him for any other coach in the NATION...surely not saban, cause thats y all the miles haters want miles gone..GET OVER SABAN hes a BAMA man and let him burn with the gumps

we have a head coach of great integrity
Also, the arrests, suspensions, recruiting violations, etc. are not the sign of a man in control of his program or players. Have past players lined up to declare what a great man, mentor, and coach he was and how their time under his watch prepared them for life in the NFL or after college?
Miles is a good coach, but not a great one. He reminds me of the pool player that can run the table, but when it comes time to sink the 8 ball, he scratches.

You're a spoiled bitch who can't and never will see how good we have it.
Get the frick over yourself and go watch ULL if you don't enjoy watching Les' teams.
Some of you can't grasp what the OP is saying. Louisiana public school's finest.
