A&M has a 6'5" receiver who is really good and only a freshman. LSU doesn't have anything close to this right now but desperately needs one.
Also have Derrick Griffin committed, and depending on how A&M fans feel about their chances with RSJ, may or may not be academically qualified

well I have heard Griffin has increased his chances to qualify somehow.
But this is odd because 247 reported way back that he needed to enroll in summer classes to even have a chance and he never enrolled.

RSJ is going to TAMU...the sooner everyone realizes that the better.

He said he wanted to compare the LSU gameday environment this weekend vs what he saw in College Station last week against us. Have to think that will work in our favor.

The gloves fit, but wont commit!

No brainer-unless you are a RB willing to RS, or an offensive lineman that likes run blocking, why would anyone that desires to play offense come play in this disaster? It becomes self perpetuating-defensive players lining up to play for the Chief, continuing to scare off WR and QB recruits, and continuing to have to lean on defense and special teams. Not sure how we break that cycle without a splash hire at OC and some STRONG indication LM will keep his nose out of his calls.

this. It was a great atmosphere for a morning game, but it was nothing even remotely close as electric as Death Valley. I was impressed with their loyalty by staying the entire game, even when it got to be two scores late.
Anyways, you trolls need to just take a hike. We are in this much more than you like to give us credit and make a pretty compelling case for him being the key piece missing to our offense (Other key was solved-we got our receiving TE.). And your bitching isn't going to change a damn thing. Until we actually start struggling to be a top-10 team, Les's system is here to stay...so yeah, just keep winning.

Ya think? If you were a HS WR, would you rather play for the team that hung 63 on AhBarn, or the team that struggled to put up 10?
Or unless you wanna challenge for the SEC title, and BCS bowl every year VS well A&M.

a&m will challenge for the west in a few years, i think.

A&M will compete for 3rd in the west for the next few years. They won't pass Bama or LSU anytime soon

No way, TAM-ponU game day comes even close to LSU/BAMA game day...

watching our offense vs. aTm's offense.
If he compared the two on his A&M visit on 10'20'12, neither was impressive. Johnny Football had one completion of over 30 yards and three over 20. Don't know how far he actually threw those three. Play-by-play
Mett had a near perfect 29 yard throw for a TD.
Both are averaging around 12 yards per completion for the season.

No comparison on game day atmosphere. We need this guy. He's a game changer.
Posted on 10/29/12 at 1:47 pm to drjeff17
So many big name recruits will be there this weekend. If that atmosphere does not make them want to commit on the spot, then something is wrong with them....but seriously, I think we make a lot of ground this weekend...we can top it off with a win too...that would be awesome!
Posted on 10/29/12 at 1:49 pm to Cousin
We need some of the commits to work on him!
