last year's regular season loss.

No mention of revenge on LSU's mind for 1/9.

After watching this season transpire most unbiased people wouldn't give LSU a snowball's chance in hell of beating Alabama. I understand Tiger fans have to rally behind the team but what makes you think they can beat BAMA?

We're also looking for revenge for the loss on the biggest stage. Our defense will be there. Hopefully, our offense will come along for the ride as well. We need to stay smart with controlled well-thought out play-calling. And there were two weeks to work on that. The receivers need to be at their best.

Saban will use that as motivation. Bama looks like a team on a mission.

Umm.. We did it last year against a better team. And we have a defense unlike UT.

I don't know about a "snowball's chance", but I understand where you're coming from.

LSU is not anywhere near the same team as last year. Mett can't move the ball to save his life, at least last year Jefferson offered some kind of a run threat.

I'd like to see how Saban uses the same thing he used for the National Championship game as motivation. That team believes they are better than us already. All he can use is wariness that we beat them last year during the regular season. But we will see on 11/3.

We had a month to do that last year. Then we had spring and fall camp to work on that. I seriously doubt we will see any changes.

So you're saying the #3 ranked Defense is nowhere near where it was last year. That would be part of "not anywhere". Saban is not going to get pass-happy against LSU. It will be very controlled. Unlike against other opponents.

Then go ahead and say we will lose if that's what you believe. Last year, I think the coaches believed Alabama could not stop the option but they did without spending significant time working on the passing game. I believe they erroneously felt the passing game was good enough.

I believe this team will and can win. I believe this team in spite of all the issues they were forced to work on during the year including promoting a freshman running back, the screens, pass protection, o-line shuffling, etc. will play a good game in the mold of South Carolina and ultimately win. I believe this team actually wants to play the top ranked teams and really wants to play Alabama. I believe that's why the guys that are here came to LSU. When they played Florida I don't think this team thought it would lose. When they played South Carolina and Texas A&M, I saw a team trying to win... a different attitude.

Yeah that 1 regular season loss is the only blemish on their record over past 2+ seasons. I can see where that could be twisted. Of course, we all know LSU is the team looking for revenge.

I just hope we play a quality game all the way around. Ala. looks great right now and whipping a previously undefeated Moo State team was impressive. They dominated. Moo State had a few chances but their defense was no match for Ala. I thought they moved the ball o.k. offensively.

Nov. 3rd is approaching..... Geaux Tigers!

If I believed that I would want a new coach. That is terrible preparation for the most important game of the year.
