I got a nice laugh out of that girl's tweet they showed during the game that said she's never heard the stadium louder than it was yesterday.

Thought the same thing.

The only time it gets "loud" was during the cheers that you couldn't understand what they were staying.

They didn't cheer and I never heard their band.

Exactly the same thoughts from my seat in section 100.

Not to mention the stinkiest....I wanted to throw up every time I walked around the upper deck concourse. Allegedly the smell was bat shite.

Worst smelling stadium ever! That was revolting.

Indeed, the batshit odor is pervasive.

Regarding the noise, if you sat in the 500s or 300s, you were probably unimpressed. Same goes for 100, 102, and 147-149. The lack of noise at those locations is a product of the stadium's design.

We're addressing all of Kyle's many deficiencies in 2014.

I told my brother exactly the same thing. I felt bad because a few ushers heard me, but it was pretty noticeable. Overall I enjoyed the game experience though.

It's even worse when you have to sit under the second deck overhang in the student section. You can hear the bats chirping and you're stuck smelling the bat piss all game. The upper deck isn't that bad in comparison.

Yeah... we were in 143, and I only noticed it at the top of the aisle under the mezzanine.

I never got a whiff of this smell you guys are talking about. It definitely wasn't a loud stadium.

So bats are the the culprit behind that awful smell! I couldn't smell it from my seat (in section 504), but it was terrible out in the concourse area. I hope they find a way to deal with that in the renovations.

Otherwise, it was a good game experience. People were very hospitable and, as much as some make fun of the traditions, I like places that are distinctive rather than generic. Nobody can say A&M is generic!

Kyle field is home to the 3rd largest Mexican bat population in the world. There's a reason we call the area under overhangs the "bat cave."

Funny how they commentted on us being low class, when most of the fans at that game came from right down the road. The LSU fans that live close by Kyle field know how to push those frickers buttons

That smell can't help concession sales, when I first walked up I thought it was the grease from the corn dogs.

You should have heard it last night. Gumps were louder than Tenn. fans even when Tenn. fans were trying to drown them out.

yet i hear that's an indespensable rivalry.

I think the problem was that most of the LSU fans were at the top of the end zone. Down closer to the field it is MUCH louder.

My folks were north endzone and said it was really loud

But they haven't been to a college game in a couple years so they may have forgotten how loud they can get
