I'm guessing Nike said we'll continue to be involved if you step down.

Lance Armstrong stepped down as chairman of his Livestrong cancer-fighting charity and Nike severed ties with him as fallout from the doping scandal swirling around the famed cyclist escalated Wednesday.
Armstrong announced his move at the charity in an early-morning statement. Within minutes, Nike said that it would end its relationship with him "due to the seemingly insurmountable evidence that Lance Armstrong participated in doping and misled Nike for more than a decade."
Nike said it will continue to support Livestrong.

Exactly. Nike can still count on Tiger as a solid stream of revenue. Lance? Not so much.

Its built around livestrong for charity not Lance, and do you really want to compare the revenue from that crap compared to nike golf? They did 750 million last year

Haha. Not a lot of Nike bikes and helmets in the market place.

Oh man, i feel so bad for Lance.
He must be crying his eyes out and wiping the tears with $100 bills. Now his great great great grandchildren wont have the newest cybernetic implant or flying car or hoverboard.

yes, what a POS, he only raised what, like $500M for cancer research.
If him "cheating" is responsible for that, its worth it.

Yeah, no shite. He's freakin' Robin Hood for Cancer research.
POS, like CEO's of Wall Street, cheat the public and steal for themselves...cheating a sport, big deal.
Hell, the American Cancer Society would have paid for Lance's dope if they knew his winning would result in the amount of money he raised for the greater good.
