Girl does something stupid.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

You could say that about the majority of shows out there...

it's just good enough to keep me watching, but Charlie needs to die or have a diminished role.

I think its getting better FWIW, IMHO. Next week looks promising with Charlie whoring herself out for penicillin. Classic.

This band of misfits on this show is fricking terrible. Last night they allowed the prisoner, with his hands tied, to escape while they were all looking at him.

Shane & Co from Walking Dead would already be running shite is this world full of retards.

You're better of reading the Novels of the Change series by S.M. Stirling.

You can definitely feel pressure changes.

Go fly a small plane and report back.

Am I the only one still seeing improvement in this show? Charlie showed at least two emotions last night. That's like a 100% improvement over the rest of the season.

Lapidus was there, and I doubt it's the last we'll see of him, so his next confrontation with Nora should be pretty good.

We got to see why Neville has such an inferiority complex, even though he's got a hot arse wife.

The show is progressing, and slowly getting better. These are all episodes that were in the can before the producers could hear any criticism. The next few weeks should really determine the direction.

Just figured out he was the Captains son.
I like how the Captain was a bitch when the power was on. Fired for being a nice insurance adjuster.

Beat a neighbor to death for breaking in. It just clicked that he (and his family) had to be tough.

So we find that the US has three major factions. The Northeast from Maine to Wisconsin and then south to Illinois and Maryland is the Monroe Republic, where the story takes place.
The South is the Georgia Republic (oh hell no)
and the West is the Greater Plains Republic.

So we know that they are all at war for territory. Monroe has a train but others should too as there are over 80 working steam engines still on tracks.

MAJOR PLOT HOLE

So no electricity period, even if generated with a rotor or stator. Yet We get a Steam piston engine, which of course needs no power. But what else needs no power to run?

A diesel engine. A simple Diesel has no electronic controls. It works on pure compression, no spark needed, and while glow plugs help on a cold day, they are not necessary.

Seems after 20 years, a few mechanics would have caught on to this, and wound up driving F350s with a crank start.

Until there was no more diesel available.

So the territories are at war with each other, with the resistance, or both?

I think both.

I can't wait for the battles between the Monroe Republic and the Georgia one. Rick and Daryl are going to have a zombie army protecting Georgia by the time Monroe's militia can get there.

I'm particularly impressed with a chick who can take an 8" blade to the abdomen and join in on a cross country walk to Philly the same day.

I thought about this too; how are people not driving around crank start cars?

The shows okay but not great. I laughed my arse off when Miles plan was to tunnel out of the building to avoid the militia his plan would have taken weeks at best.

made me think of this when i saw it:

quote:

I used to think it would take six-hundred years to tunnel under the wall with it. Old Andy did it in less than twenty. Oh, Andy loved geology. I guess it appealed to his meticulous nature. An ice age here, million years of mountain building there. Geology is the study of pressure and time. That's all it takes really, pressure, and time. That, and a big god-damned poster.

Him getting the Captain out of the wreckage was more annoying than that (at least to me). I mean... the a-hole that kidnapped you, beaten you and leads the men that killed your father is pinned under wreckage and facing certain death. You can climb up the ladder and finally be free or you can free him. Considering the amount of times he has tried to escape, this should be a no-brainer, right? Wrong.

Moron kid.

And I still say the lead female should be re-named to "Carl" after the worthless little shite on Walking Dead.

Same here, the girl in the show is awful
