Les needs to quit making excuses as to why the team lost, looking to blame the fumble or the injuries. Bottom line, LSU would have lost earlier if we had played anybody.
I see Les sitting in the glory of last year thinking that he has got it all together, but the other teams in the SEC are catching up & are hungrier.
Until Les admits that the offense is not playing well, & that the staff is letting the team & the fans down, there will be no improvement. Les, you need to take the blame, state the obvious, & get this ship back on course.
Although, I am not a Saban fan, he does not try to make something look like what it is not. He would be fuming about his team's performance. So, Les, you get paid good money to show us some "Grown Man" coaching. It's time to grow a set & let Mett go. I see a kid itching to throw the ball around, but coaches who can't coach him or the o-line up enough to get it done.
Les, it's time to start earning your paycheck. Let's see what YOU ARE MADE OF!!!

when has he done that, esp. with the injuries?

It's not just one game. It's the SEC Championship game against Georgia, it's the BCS Championship game against Alabama. It's all last season. People saying LSU averaged 35 points a game when in fact a bunch of that was defense and special teams not the offense. This team has been in an offensive nightmare since the Ohio State game and Matt Flynn. Even in that game it was the defense. When was the last time you saw a Les Miles offense go out and consistently drive the field throughout a game and finish the drives with touchdowns and not field goals, not penalties and not turnovers?

So you are saying that in the past 7 years LSU offense hasn't driven the field and scored.
Is that your position?

Call him on his radio show and tell him. That'll show everyone who's really in charge.

No team in CFb could lose 8 starters and remain great. Not one

You don't need to be great to put up more than 6 points on Florida or more than 12 points on Auburn. Unless your definition is large enough to encompass Bowling Green and ULM and Tennessee.

consistently
can you not understand that?
consistently drive and score touchdowns (we don't do that and haven't done it for a long time)

And what did that one game cost us last year!

Its just one loss, but the problems were evident clearly in more than one game.

Revenge is a great motivator. I don't think everyone is catching up to LSU. I do think our offense is one of the worst in the conference at the moment. We have too many play makers to not score a single touchdown in a game. Where was Jarvis Landry on Sat.? Where was
Shep? WTF? 1st and goal on the 7 yard line late in 1st half and Mett rolls out and dumps the ball in the stands. Pitiful! At least have a mobile QB roll out in that situation so run/pass is an option. Our offensive coordinator needs some help. He's not getting the job done.

Coach Stud is the Javi Sanchez of football.

In his post game press conference he talked about the fumble. I am not sure if he mentioned the injuries. Bottom line, he does not address the problem with this team directly, NO OFFENSE! And it is because of coaches & players. But, the coaches need to take the blame & change it. I just can't believe that there is not enough talent on the offense to do more than what is being done.
