Have any of you had run-ins with bears while hunting? (LA and MS)

We have some reports of a new one on our place near Fort Adams. I never really think about them when Im in the woods for some reason. I guess its because they are rare. I assume those of you hunting in north LA have seen plenty, but Ive never seen one in the woods. Do they scare deer off when they come near your stand while you have been in the woods?
Here is one I had on camera at our place about 7 miles west of woodville on Hwy 24. I have another pic somewhere of one with a collar on. They are always messing with or looking at my camera when it takes a pic. weird

A buddy of mine had them at his family's camp a couple years ago. Not sure if they still do, but idk how they would've gotten rid of them..
This is north of Bastrop, LA btw..

Friend of mine had one sniff around his deer stand (tensas parish) while he was in it.

I had one walk about 20 yards from my stand when I was bow hunting in Tensas parish about 10 years ago.

I don't know how true it is in other areas, but up in Cades Cove in TN if you see deer, you can guarantee there is a bear within a half mile to a mile of it.

Never had them where I hunted. Didn't have any when I hunted Ft Adams. Wish I still hunted up there though.

Had one for the past 3-4 years showing up on my cameras but never seen him. All the pictures are during late spring and into the summer.

Is this photoshopped? I'm thinking it has to be, but I'm really hoping it's not.
