For the first time ALLLLLL season Tiger Stadium will be rocking on Saturday Night.

I honestly think crowd noise will keep us in this game but we have to open it up a little on offense. I mean I could care less if we run all game but at least have a solid time of possession to keep our defense off of the field.

Saturday Night is our season.

If we win out, we'll play 3 of the 7 teams in front of us (USC/Bama/FloridaSECCG). As frustrating as this loss was, we still basically control our own destiny.

Nah, USC/Oregon and undefeated Big 12 go over us. USC plays Oregon twice and Notre Dame.

I agree with the previous responses of being out of the polls at 5-3 after the aTm game.

The pollsters unlike the Rantards know we lost to a very good football team and IF we fix our offense and win all the REST WILL Win the National Championship

Ok I've scanned the coaches poll 10 times and I don't see Ohio State. Where are they?

Good thing the Rantards/Negatigers can't vote. Tigers would be out of the top 25.

These rankings were REAL generous to LSU. After South Carolina, it won't matter. I don't think LSU will even be near the Top 25 at season's end.

Win all the rest??

Yeah....and I might get a date with Jenny McCarthy, too.

USC is already behind us. Assuming LSU wins out (Huge IF lol), LSU only needs 2 of the following 3 to happen:

-Oregon loss (will likely play USC twice)
-West Virginia-KState winner to drop a game
-notre dame to drop a game

I think all three happen, much less only 2of3 ... LSU definitely has issues on offense, but its pretty clear LSU would still be in the title game if they by some miracle are able to win out. If LSU were to find a way, it appears they've got a pretty clear path to Miami as the SEC champion.

Teams change week to week...teams jump teams all the time...especially at the end of the year if one looks more impressive than the other in their final audition.

its only clear in your imagination. As things stand, there are undefeated teams that would go over a one loss SEC champ.

And worse yet by far, Mettenberger has yet to demonstrate a kind of pocket awareness that makes me think he is going to do a whole lot better.

I would run the wildcat from here on in, because the O-line is thin now, and I think I would rather have an inexperienced O-line guys blocking for sweeps and draws and runs. I love Metts arm for medium and long distance, but he seemed to have no touch vs Florida. I suspect that the way to salvage the season is to practice the dual threat guys as wildcats.
