The McDonald's on Drusilla and Jefferson is bad.
Really? I used to go there about once a week, when I worked nearby. Thought it was pretty good service. It was always fairly clean, they never dicked up orders and the staff was pleasant. I've found all those Valluzzo McDonald's to be a cut above the average fast food joint.

Why is the service so good at Cane's & Chick-Fil-A?
BTW, if you want ice cream or a shake after 8:00 pm we all know the McD line 'duh machine be broke', go to a Sonic. When we need a late night shake fix Sonic has never failed, and theirs is a lot better then the rest anyway.

Both of those places seem like they're not fishing in the shallow end of the labor pool. God, you go to Taco Bell and it seems like it's nothing but high school dropouts working there. Do they pay more than other fast food joints?
I also have a theory that Chick-fil-A's secret of good customer service is the employees know they will be off one day during the weekend. And maybe they tap churches as a pool for potential employees? "Johnny, why don't you go put in for a job at Chick-fil-A? They're a nice Christian business."

You went to McDonald's and only ordered a diet coke? Why? There is a gas station right next door.

I've been there for breakfast a lot over the past year, and it has always been super fast...even with a stacked drive-thru. The lady handing the food out the window is always very nice. And sometimes she has the bag hanging out the window before I can even pull up. Maybe the best people are on the morning crew.

Negative, Ghostrider. I've never had bad or slow service from the Popeyes on Oneal. The BK on Oneal, before it closed, was the absolute worst! Hell, the night crew at the Oneal Popeyes sometimes have too much chicken cooked late at night and will sell you a 20 pc mixed for $8 if you catch them at the right time.

I'm pretty sure I haven't had a positive customer service experience at BK in about 8 years. They have went so far down hill. I'm not talking about just one in particular. I can recall horrible experiences ONeal, Denham, Central, and Jones Creek. They are all worthless.
Jones Creek is fricking terrible .. I don't see how it stays open .. The GM has to be a blind idiot ..

Jack in the Box on the northgate is the absolute WORST.
I had a friend who liked shakes. Literally EVERY time he asked for one..."Machine Down"
Go there late at night: "We changin shifts"
What the hell does that mean?
Ask for two chicken sandwiches...get a bag with two burgers.
Not to mention how long it takes for your food when you go inside.

A three-page thread of adult men discussing fast food? What is this blue collar shite?

McDonald's does it right, or at least right enough. 9/10 McDonald's you go to are very quick and efficient. You can through a full drive through with your breakfast in 5 minutes. Burger King, Jack in the Box are just wildcards..but McDonald's is consistent.

The BK lounge at coursey and airline is laughable

Decent tradeoff considering it takes about 3 months to digest it.

Burger King on Jefferson is awful. Past few times I've been there, they've had about 3 cars pulled up waiting for an order. One time they brought the rest of my order out, the wrong order, and then the girl said "Oh well, I'm not going back to fix it".
KFC on Perkins/Bluebonnet is pretty bad too.
