Dude is usually pretty spot on with his picks... It's going to be an interesting weekend

Two years ago LSU pulled the upset 33-29 in The Swamp and while LSU had a 385-243 yard edge, they needed a fake FG that bounced off the ground and was caught and got a 3 yard td pass with :06 left for the win. Last year LSU was at home and UF was not only missing their #1 QB but also his backup and 3rd string true frosh QB Brissett who’d never taken a snap, got the start in Death Valley (8-14-94) and it was LSU’s most lopsided win over UF s/’71. The last time UF dropped 3 straight to LSU was from 1978-’80. LSU only had Towson last week but the Gators are off a bye. LSU been rather uninspiring the last two weeks including the 38-22 win over Towson and has dropped 2 spots in the polls. UF is 4-0 led by QB Driskel who is completing 70% with a 4-1 ratio while RB Gillislee is averaging 100 ypg (5.8). The Gators will also be getting back a couple of injured starters on D, have played a much tougher schedule (#4-105) and “Mr. 2H Adjustment” HC Muschamp has seen his Gators outscore their opponents 64-13 in the 2H and I will continue to ride my pick to win the SEC East.
PHIL’S FORECAST: FLORIDA 24 LSU 17

I honestly seeing LSU haveing more total yards than 250... 107 passing yds seems pretty low even with the the bad OLine

UF's run defense is awful. We will churn this motha out and win by 10.

Well, he's hardly spot-on, FWIW; he picked against LSU numerous times last year.

I think he picked LSU to lose either 3 or 4 times during the regular season last year...he will likely pick us to lose to south carolina as well, and possibly a&m and most definitely alabama. He is certainly not an lsu homer...which is fine, because over the last few years he has gotten pretty lousy at his picks.

If memory serves, Mett had somewhere close to this in passing in the game against Towson.

If we win, and I think we will, watch how quickly these same people now picking Florida will belittle the win.

His comp has Florida having 400 yards of total offense and a 18 point victory? Pure fantasy

I can't believe this goof, in Mett's first road game he threw for 170 and we still rushed over 200, penalties and turnovers are killing us. IMO it's a lack of player motivation, but be assured they'll have a lot for this one. I say we beat em something like 33-17 then whoop SC at home and hopefully get out of college station without Mett being concussed.

This game will be a very fashionable upset alert because the gators are a home underdog to a team considered by many to be underperforming.

This game is a dream come true for the LSU defense. They will be all over the gator quarterback. ...and they will be able to punish him.

I do expect muschamp and company to have a few trick plays and attempt some 4th down and 'jorts'.

It will be exactly what Dr. Miles ordered... a ten point or more romp in the swamp.

Turnovers and penalties will decide the game. If LSU has their house in order, they should win.

Well that settles it then. No need to play the game this weekend.
