My son always goes crazy when he sees those gigantic pizzas on Man vs Food. Is there anywhere like this is Nola? I'd like to bring him for his 9th birthday on Monday. TIA.

Just checked the Brooklyn site. 20" is the biggest there.

Wonder if a place like Domenica could/would make one a little larger for you. It's not the traditional pizza and a bit of an upscale pizza, but all that can happen is to get a no if you ask.

Take him to Hooters and get him 50 wings. Best thing is he'll get to see boobies.

Can't vouch for the quality, but That's Amore in Metairie sells a 24" pizza. LINK

My fave NY style right now is Pizzicare on Tulane Ave, but the large is 18". Pizzicare's slices are damn tasty--the crust actually improves with the reheating. LINK

That would be a memorable birthday celebration for a 9-year-old.

FTR I got a pizza to go at the "baby pizza" place on the ATL edition of Man v Food and had to put my back seats down so it could fit in the car

I also had to cut the pizza up into squares to save the leftovers in the fridge. It was probably 48" in diameter if not more.

I can walk to this place from work. They did the carnivore challenge, and Adam's partner threw up outside. Great pizza though.
