Been there about 1/2 dozen times. Never had a problem. Win or loose, some of the nicest fans I've been around. Gotta go to Cheeburger Cheeburger is damn good eats. Some decent bars. Traffic is a MFKER! Only bad trip was 2010. Cam Newton and being revived by my auburn grad buddy on the English Dept lawn. But, that's another story.

I've been there six times. I'm 0-6. Was there for the Jamie Howard debacle. Trying to find a way to get there this year, just to break my streak. I echo some of the earlier comments, it's an easy trip, and the people there have always been very friendly. Maybe because they beat us everytime I've been?

Montgomery is not ghetto. He is quite articulate.

Stay in Huntsville and just make the longer drive. It's way cleaner than Birmingham and Montgomery combined.

3 hours? Yikes. Huntsville is freaking gorgeous, though.

First, stay in Montgomery unless you have a good friend about 30 minutes west of Auburn which is were I will be staying. I have never not had a blast and I have been about 6-7 times. Traffic getting out of that stadium is a bitch though. I won't be driving thank you

Montgomery is where we are staying. Always a good time downtown. The game will be a night game so tailgate scene will be fun. I personally enjoy Auburn- have been 3 of past 4 trips. Currently have upper deck seats and am looking for lowers to be by the full tiger band.

Auburn and Alabama are cyclical. In my experience having lived there over the years, the fans are mostly cool if their team sucks. It's when they're good that they're douches (see Bama fans currently).

So Auburn should be a fun trip. Sky Bar is a good time. I had fun at the Supper Club too, but I had way too many at the shot bus out back. Kind of a hole in the wall, but Auburn's a small town. Traffic can be bad, but I'd stay in Bham or Montgomery.

I really regret not going in 08 and again in 2010. Now, I probably won't get the chance to go for a while.

My friends that have made the trip all say it is a hell of a time.

Have been twice and plan on going back this year. I'm 1-1. Cam Newton rained on my parade, but I'm looking forward to going 2-1.

I have been every time the game has been in Auburn since 04. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I always stay in one of the hotels very close to the stadium so that I don't have to drive anywhere. The traffic looks like a nightmare, so you should plan to stay put for a while if you aren't staying within walking distance.
