You down in da parish? If so, any floods?

I live in upper St. Bernard, yes. Quite honestly, my neighborhood is not experiencing any flood problems at the moment. My front yard is under inches of rain, but it's nothing totally out of the ordinary from the thunderstorms we've experienced thus far during the summer. Having said that, it's still early yet. My house is raised about 3 ft. above the ground, so I personally should not be affected too much from the rainfall alone. The wind, however, is a different story.

You ever wonder if he jumps out into the 70 mph winds just to test how manly he is?

According to the Entergy map, I'm in a 4 block stretch that still has power. Pretty much all of uptown and the garden district is out. It's only a matter of time now!

Good luck brother. The State is taking this one on the chin and it's sad to see this happen yet again.

No problem sir. I'll update every now and then for as long as I can. We've been getting shite on for hours now. My power has lasted this long, hopefully it manages to stay on for the remainder of this storm.

Not watching, but would like a brick or stop sign to hit his dumb arse.

I would rather do this in the daylight than in the middle of the night. We have that going for us.

Thanks again and good luck. I know my family members lost power around 7pm yesterday. Told them to GTFO.
