Didn't Illyrio broker that deal with the Golden Company? If so I could have seen him telling Harry at the least.
Yep. Tyrion was super curious about it, and it wouldn't shock me if he as well has figured out Varys' little riddle.

Very off topic and more related to the TV series, oh well, but this just popped into my head. I think Mads Mikkelson would make an awesome Red Viper.

Very well thought out. If you are indeed correct, I wonder if it is Tyrion, I also think he may have figured this out, who lets Dany know of this. Dany and Aegon will not end up as allies, though I think they may join forces for a moment. Personally I have thought since Dance that the three heads are Dany - Targ, Aegon - Blackfyre, and Jon - secret Targ. I believe Dany and Aegon results in another Dance of Dragons leaving the pretender, and his dragon dead. Which sucks because I like the Blackfyre's more than the Targ's.

I am predicting Aegon is thought to be the third head but gets his shite killed by one of the dragons and the actual third head is a more prominent surprise character.

I wish that I could bring myself to read the books, theyre just too frickin long.

To the others, I tried catching up on this thread completely, but you SOBs keep posting and I'm only through page 36. I give up. I will join the thread henceforth, though after reading the first 36 pages, I have no theories to offer.
My take on a theory brought up earlier that wasn't agreed upon. I definitely think Bran wargs into Mormont's crow at some point. The "Jon Snow" the crow says towards the end of DwD definitely stuck out in my mind. Maybe we find out Bran was able to warg into the crow at that point in time, or maybe the crows can move through time like the Godswoods. Though I'd bet the latter.
When Bran first wargs into a Godswood and sees Ned, Ned looks up and says "Is there someone there?" or something like that. I'm thinking this scene occurred in Game of Thrones from Ned's perspective, but haven't Googled. Has anyone else seen that confirmed?

I think Walder is so dishonorable that he will kill himself by jumping off the bridge. He is too much of a POS to let anyone take their revenge out on him.

It could have just as easily been Bloodraven. He would have certainly taken an interest in a Stark bastard at the wall even if he didn't guess Jon's secret. Jon was a good guess as a future LC from the day he arrived at the wall. It just happened earlier than anyone would have thought.

I meant I'd bet the former in my last post. Got distracted. Did Bloodraven come into contact with Jon at some point?

He was years gone from the wall when Jon was born but he's been warging all over the place.
I don't think we've ever been told how Bloodraven left the wall. Did he fake his death? Desert? Just disappear?
And what did he do with Dark Sister?

I definitely think that Mormont's Raven was sent by "The Three Eyed Crow". It's how he keeps an eye on what the Night's Watch is up to, and he's without question very curious about it. The Three Eyed Crow has been sitting on the game plan all along, and since I think he's responsible for the return of the Others and is in charge of them, this has been very bad for the Night's Watch.
That was how he knew that the Night's Watch were on the Fist and how many there were. This also allowed him to summon Coldhands to the exact location where Sam Tarly is and make sure he survives. I think he also knows that he needs Jon Snow dead, and the best way of assuring that was making him Lord Commander, since with the hell his family and lands are going through, it's likely a matter of time he snaps and uses the Watch's resources to get back Winterfell. He could also use this as fuel against Bran to hate the Night's Watch and the Wildings, and then have him warg Dany's dragons against the wall and her armies.

Walder will die peacefully in his sleep just because Martin likes fricking with our emotions.

Didn't see these posted and I haven't been reading all of what GRRM has been putting out so far, but apparently he read two more chapters (Both Barristan Selmy) at Boskone and somebody over on westeros.org took notes and posted about it.

It's too long to quote it here.

When the first few chapters came out, I jumped all over them. Now that more and more are coming out, I'm getting a little leery of doing so. I only read the top synopsis of the readings, and I'm a little upset that I did.
