All of my conversations about GoT, I always have to remind people of this. I think because it was buried two books ago not many people give it credence, but Littlefinger has a scheme rolling to take Winterfell through Sansa's marriage. And it also seems that Sansa is digging ole Baelish too boot. He has claim to Harrenhall, dibs on the Vale, and plot to claim the north.

I have quit trying to predict Littlefinger's actions. My only comment is it more than likely will not turn out as we expect and it is more likely that Sansa ends up killing him through some manner of political intrigue.

It would fit GRRM's style with the student gaining the upper hand over the teacher and Sansa of all people leveling justice on the man that ultimately killed her family.

There's a theory that the Blackfish is on his way to meet them at Lord Nestor's table. I'm hoping he does, she gets revealed, and she finds out the role that Littlefinger had in the death of her father.

Would the Blackfish even recognize Sansa? He has been stuck away at the Eyrie since Robert's Rebellion and Sansa had never been there before until Peter took her there.

Just read the whole thread.

Rhaegar was fascinated with Azor Ahai and the Prince that was Promised. He constantly read about it and thought that he was AA. If I recall right, he figured out that he wasn't AA but someone born in his line would be.

There has been some speculation that Jojen = Howland but I'm not sure I buy that.

I think the Blackfish is en route to the Vale. He will reveal himself and Sansa will become a player in the GoT by marrying Harry the Heir (Harrold Hardyng; LINK) when Little Robin dies.

Another thing people forget about Sansa is that the Mad Mouse is in the Vale now. When Brienne meets him, he talks about killing Sansa and bringing her to Cersei. Just another thing to keep an eye on.

It's "mind bottling" thinking about the number of open ended things leading to TWOW. On my reread I just finished the chapter where Lady Dustin says how much she hates the Starks and that Ned's bones will never be buried in the crypts of Winterfell. Even on a second read, that is still a WTF moment. I still thought "where the hell did that come from and where is GRRM taking this".

For there to be a "they" it would need to be more than Howland Reed

I'm not convinced Arthur Dayne died the way it seems he did. Ned's comment to Bran "he would have killed me if it weren't for Howland reed", just seems deliberately vague. Maybe he fell on his sword to protect the secret and send Jon off with Ned?

As for Bloodraven, how does the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch just disapear? I'm guessing that will eventually be addressed in the D&E series. Oh well, off to E. TX.

I like how GRRM is writing the novellas to address and hint at certain things.

I thought the same thing when I read it. She has a LOT of hatred for the Starks (specifically Ned for turning her down). She will be a player against them.

I actually think the opposite. I think she's being overly angry to put on a front.

Now I don't believe this, but has anyone read the theory that Rhaegar actually was AA. Since Robert killed him, the realm is doomed. That would be pretty awesome

My mind is racing with all the unanswered questions.

What is up with Loras?
Where is Gerion Lannister?
Where is Tyrek Lannister?

Those are tiny ones that just came to my head. There are so many others.

I think Tyrek was stashed away by Varys and Tyrion will meet Gerion soon in Essos.

The Loras injuries/Dragonstone capture were a ruse, IMO. Cersei's info came from Aurane Waters who hauled arse like a day later. I think that was some kind of scheme to get at Cersei.

Speaking of Cersei. My reread has made me hate/love her so much more. She is so dumb and paranoid that it makes reading her chapters so enjoyable. You don't really know it on the first read, but pretty much every move and thought she has are the wrong ones.

Crackpot - Zombie Tommen kills her. Just came to me and would be very satisfying. It fulfills the prophecy that his shroud is gold and that he dies before she does. But then he comes back as a wight and as the volanquar(younger sibbling) and kills her.

This crossed my mind. She does acknowledge that she is from a minor House that would never have really been able to wed into Winterfell anyway, but she seems so angry. We'll see.

Is there any possibility that Tyrion has already met Gerion? On my reread I was looking at characters that might fit his description, but got nothing. It would be very Martinish to put him right under our nose.
