Then good for her. I just don't get why you guys are so butt hurt over her wanting to try out. She probably won't make the team but at least she will be able to say she tried.

I have no problem with her trying out... She already tried out. She didn't make the squad in the Spring. This team has the opportunity to do something special and I do not like that this potential distraction is so enthusiastic about putting her name out there concerning a team that she clearly will not make/has nothing to do with.
We do not need help at kicker. She has proven her point. I wish her the best and that we can move past this and focus on winning a National Championship.

If she can help the team I want her on it. If she can't, I don't. And I trust Les Miles to do what is going to improve our team author worrying about what is under the pads.

Ok.
I know a hand full of guys that can out kick Mo and would love to be in open tryouts hanging around the team, picking up inside info and chilling in the indoor facilities. They're all inter mural soccer player stoners that hang out in the student section drunk. I don't see them being welcomed into practice. Mo is a chick and ex lsu womens soccer player and that's why she is there.

If she has the ability and the quality "want" then why not do it? I don't Think she's trying to get attention, just inspire those who are facing uphill battles...just because someone does something hardly anyone does doesn't mean they're trying to get all the attention.
But if she's better than the second string guy then let her on the team. What's so wrong with that? Nothing at all..

If anything she's getting preferential treatment because she an LSU athlete. A lot easier for her to get somebody in the football offices' ear than some random intermural soccer players.
