if nearly all the kickers on my high school team did at one point, i'd be willing to go out on a limb and say anyone on a D1 college team could as well. hell, i played soccer and only had marginal kicking power and made a 45 yard field goal screwing around. for a girl, yeah that's great, but i think you're underestimating how much better the other kickers are. there's a reason she was cut last time she tried this.

So you're saying you don't know.

no it's just not as hard as you think it is. and i was a starting forward for my soccer team, so it's not like i didn't know how to kick. but i also wasn't under the assumption i could make a college football team because this one time in practice i made a long field goal.

I want her to make the team and les makes the mistake to actually put her in the game on a kickoff. Then she can see why it's male only when she gets hit by a 6'2 230 lb beast running a sub 4.6 looking for an easy highlight reel.

Ftr...I have no doubt you have a better leg than me, but I played sweeper on my high school and select teams. I know the mechanics of kicking something.

I hope she makes a last second 53 yarder to beat Bama 103-0.

This is getting annoying. Unless we're getting locker room shots send her packing.

That's bad arse.....

I'm proud she's sticking it out. It's more than a publicity stunt as some believe. She still will not make the team. To big of a distraction.

A girl kicking the winning FG against Bama would go a long ways toward making me forget about 1/9.

That would be epic. Go Mo

Why do you wish harm on her? Pretty pathetic IMO.

I don't think he wished harm on her. Just a routine FB play experience. You're assuming she'd be hurt bc she's a girl.

So LSU survived Shadygate, RS housing incident, and the synthetic drugs to navigate one of the toughest schedules in LSU history but we can't deal with having a girl on the 85 man roster with this years schedule? Yeah I think there is some underestimating the team going on in here. I am not sure she will even make the team but I doubt it would be much of a big deal to the guys if she did.

That's only if Les Miles finds it so based on normal tryout procedures. If she can do everything well enough that a normal kicker should do, she should be on the team. If she can't do that stuff, she shouldn't be on the team. It's as simple as that.

Though I don't think you ever made it to the spelling bee either.
